This series will help you cultivate deep connection and trust between you an your body.

This gentle somatic dance series will calm and nourish your system. As you create a gentle familiarity with your body and its needs, you are creating powerful neural pathways of trust. This is profoundly calming to the nervous system, and lays the foundation for healing and growth.

We will use gentle music and simple, guided, pleasure-based movement. We will also have Q&A time. These personalized discussions about your somatic experience will help your mind relax and your body soften, so that you can receive the nourishment you deserve.

We’ll meet on Zoom, four weeks in a row. Each session will include a combination of:

  • a lesson / demo for how to explore gentle somatic dance in your own body

  • Q&A for specific questions and guidance around your challenges

  • guided somatic practice with soothing, inspiring music

  • Consistent Support

    A month of connection, encouragement, inspiration, & guidance.

  • Personal Attention

    Small, intimate group of 8, with time to answer individual questions.

REQUIREMENTS  

You must be a current member of Primal Trust Academy. Please make sure you have gone through the Brain Retraining module of Primal Trust (Module 4 of Level 1). I also ask that you have a basic self-regulation practice, so that you feel regulated enough to be in a small group. We agree as a group to refrain from symptom discussion and intense story-telling. Thank you. :-) 

REGISTRATION  

Registration is for the whole series (all 4 sessions). The first 8 people to register will be in this class. If you are trying to register, and the class is full, visit my main Groups page to access the waitlist for upcoming rounds (link also at bottom of this page).

REFUND POLICY: Registrations are non-refundable.

I do not offer cancellations, transfers or refunds. It would be impossible to keep multiple waitlists and switch people around. Please honor this boundary of mine. 🌺🙏🏼🌺

Before you register, please take a few moments to check in with your body and your heart. Ask yourself if this Series is a strong YES for you right now. Take some time to review the description. Each session will be a nourishing real-time experience. Make sure the dates/times work well for you. Sessions will not be recorded. If you find you need to miss a session, please know it will be ok, and you will still receive a lot from this series.

My goal is to provide you with the deepest levels of presence and care. When you join this Small Group Series, I ask that you meet me and the group with a strong level of commitment, even if you also have some resistance.

This Series is going to be a wonderful month of wonder, connection, growth, and delight. I look forward to working and playing with you. 💫

“My somatic experience with Candace was incredible. The stretching we started with immediately softened my body and allowed for more space. I was able to feel my feelings and acknowledge sensations in my body without trying to escape them but being with them and then the movement allowed them to move and process instead of staying stuck.

I felt so much lighter and not so tense and tangled. While the music was playing I felt certain words resonate with my body and even some tears came up but they were tears of release. All of this gentle movement caused a huge shift, like this new way of healing could actually be my future. In that present moment everything didn’t feel so heavy, I actually felt free and even giggled a little which is really rare for me.

It was such an amazing experience. It feels sometimes that my mind only allows for me to remember the bad and that’s the only thing that feels familiar. But during this session with Candace my mind actually remembered the sound of laughing and the feeling of slowing down and in that moment it also felt familiar. So now I have this experience to come back to, going forward, to access something familiar that also feels good.”
