Allowing ourselves to have the core human experience of grief can be nourishing, revitalizing, and even healing. In order to receive these benefits of grieving, we have to create the time and space for it.
This is an invitation to welcome a very human experience, in a very safe and loving way.
It can be challenging to welcome grief without judging it or fearing it. Very often, we push grief away, suppress it, or rush through it. But this leaves our nervous system feeling disconnected. What if we could meet our grief with gentle welcoming, allowing it to move through us in a way that creates deep, lasting peace?
Whether it’s the loss of a loved one, the loss of our health, or a deep longing for what we never had, grief is a profound and integral part of being human.
Join me for a gentle journey into the transformative power of grief, with a core focus on nervous system regulation.
In this 4-week Small Group Mentoring Series, we’ll create a welcoming, soft space to honor and even discover unexpected beauty within your grief, allowing it to move through you without force or judgment.
This is a Level 2 & 3 series. Please make sure you have completed Primal Trust Level 1 and you have a basic daily practice of nervous system regulation in place.

What we’ll explore and experience together:
Creating a Safe & Welcoming Container: Gather in an intimate, supportive space where your grief is honored and welcomed. You will remember that you are not alone in grief- it is a universal part of the human experience. In our small guided group, we’ll be cultivating those ventral vagal feelings of connection, openness, and optimism. Giving ourselves this nervous system support will help us feel safe and supported as we each meet our own grief. Note: This is a Level 2/3 series, so everyone in the group needs to have a daily nervous system practice that helps them access safety and calm. This is an important aspect of the group- that everyone takes responsibility for their own regulation.
Helping the Mind understand Grief: We'll explore new perspectives on grief and sorrow, to help ease our mental resistance to the emotional experience. We will also practice letting go of mind patterns that keep us stuck in victim stories (these stories can prevent the full processing of our grief). We’ll also be strengthening your Adult Main Personality, so that you have a greater capacity to hold and understand challenging emotions.
Very Gentle Somatic Practice: In the gentlest of ways, we will allow old, stuck grief to go ahead and move through. I have led many people through the subtle and beautiful process of welcoming grief in the body. With carefully selected music, we will move through simple somatic exercises. This is not about recreating a traumatic experience. We will be meeting our grief in the present moment, in very small doses.
Savoring the Beauty of Grief: Discover how to honor your grief in a way that can lead to profound moments of peace and even joy. We'll explore how fully feeling a sensation, with nervous system support, can transform it into a state of pure presence and even bliss. This is a beautiful way to experience the Primal Trust state.
This is a Level 2 & 3 series. Please make sure you have completed Primal Trust Level 1 and you have a basic daily practice of nervous system regulation in place.

This series is for Primal Trust Level 2 & 3 members who are navigating grief in its many forms – whether from a recent loss, a lingering sadness, loneliness, a sense of lack, or a feeling of emotional heaviness.
Things you might notice:
feelings of loneliness or isolation
feelings of helplessness or overwhelm
spontaneous crying for seemingly no reason
numbness or fatigue when emotions start to come up
deep sadness about your childhood or other times in your life
an inability to cry, or a resistance to “going there” emotionally
a deep yearning or longing, with a fear that you’ll never receive what you desire

are curious about the healing power of grief
have a sense that you are ready to process some of your own grief
want gentle guidance on how to feel grief in your body and allow it to move through
are willing to be part of a supportive small group, sharing and witnessing in conscious ways
have completed Primal Trust Level 1. You have a daily nervous system practice that helps you access safety and calm. You are meeting your own emotional needs and you are ready to address a deeper layer.

We’ll meet on Zoom, four Mondays in a row. Each session will include a combination of:
lesson/demo on new ways to interact with grief
guided gentle somatic practice with soothing, supportive music
Q&A to get personalized guidance around welcoming & processing grief

REQUIREMENTS
You must be a current member of Primal Trust Academy. Please make sure you have gone through all of Level 1. I also ask that you have a basic self-regulation practice, so that you feel regulated enough to be in a small group. We agree as a group to refrain from symptom discussion and intense story-telling. I ask that everyone’s camera stay on during sessions, even if you are not on screen the whole time. Thank you. :-)
REFUND POLICY: Registrations are non-refundable.
Before you register, please take a few moments to check in with your body and your heart. Ask yourself if this Series is a strong YES for you right now. Take some time to review the description. Each session will be a nourishing real-time experience.
Make sure the dates/times work well for you. Sessions will not be recorded. If you find you need to miss a session, please know it will be ok, and you will still receive a lot from this series.
My goal is to provide you with the deepest levels of presence and care. When you join this Small Group Series, I ask that you meet me and the group with a strong level of commitment, even if you also have some resistance.
I do not offer cancellations, transfers or refunds. It would be impossible to keep multiple waitlists and switch people around. Please honor this boundary of mine.
